Hello and welcome to my site!

My name is Zach Malott and I’m the Senior Pastor at Mescalero Baptist Mission on the Mescalero Apache reservation in Southeast New Mexico. I am on staff at First Baptist Church of Ruidoso, New Mexico and pastor our Native American mission on the reservation.  I currently hold a BS in Religion, working on the last few classes on my MA in Professional Counseling at Liberty University. I will begin my MA in Theological Studies sometime toward the end of 2013.  I’m a certified pastoral counselor, certified Christian life coach, author, public dynamic speaker, and finishing my certification in Christian Apologetics from Biola University and soon will be certified by NAMB as a Nationally Certified Apologetics Instructor.

Working for God on the Mescalero Apache reservation is a blessing that surpasses anything that I could have ever imagined. Is it easy? That depends on your definition of easy!  Following Christ requires an understanding of the cost and the cross you will bear. As a Christian, we persevere. It is hands on the plow. It is never looking back.

I am married and  my wife Rhonda and I have four, grown boys and one girl. Our first grandchild, Belle, is the apple of our eye.

My interests are varied and but I have a passion for writing. Visit and join me under Pastor Zach Malott on FaceBook and PastorZMalott on Twitter.

I am also announcing my new blog which, among other topics, discusses the 21st century confusion that surrounds  global worldviews today. Many people travel many paths. Many worldviews abound in the 21st century. Do they all lead to hope and purpose? Keep watching for the opening announcement for this powerful and beneficial new blog. God bless you for stopping by!  Let me know if I can be of any spiritual help to you.
